Highmark Health invites applications for its Summer 2027 Underwriting Undergraduate Internship to support underwriting operations, pricing analysis, and financial evaluation within a healthcare environment. The program develops future business professionals through direct exposure to underwriting principles, risk assessment, and client support functions.

As a member of the Labor & Education Underwriting Team, interns work with experienced underwriters on new business and renewal activities,

Qualifications

Enrollment in a bachelor’s program at an accredited college or university.
Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Responsabilités

Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and internal stakeholders for assignment planning.
Under supervision, provide entry-level professional services aligned with daily objectives.
Participate in projects and programs to develop professional skills and expertise.
Assist in planning and implementing unit projects and initiatives.
Conduct research and reporting with recommendations or action proposals.
Engage in related studies or enrichment programs as appropriate.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
