CNA is seeking an Underwriting Audit Consulting Director responsible for conducting underwriting audits for National Accounts Property, identifying operational and training improvement opportunities, and collaborating with various teams to enhance underwriting and audit processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing underwriting audits analyzing risk selection, pricing, coverage, and compliance for new and renewal business.
• Identifying operational or training improvements for underwriting and audit processes.
• Collaborating on audit projects, ensuring compliance and timely completion.
• Driving quality assurance throughout the underwriting audit lifecycle.
• Developing responses and action plans for audit findings.
• Reviewing and maintaining underwriting guides and procedures.
• Mentoring less experienced auditors and sharing expertise.

Reporting to: Typically an Audit Director or higher.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Deep technical knowledge of underwriting practices across Property coverage types.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Athenium/Team Think preferred.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional designations preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years underwriting experience with a proven track record.
• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or RPLU preferred.

Salary range in certain jurisdictions: $97,000 to $189,000 annually, based on experience and location. CNA offers comprehensive benefits and reasonable accommodations for disabilities.
