Westlake Financial Services is seeking an Underwriting Associate in Los Angeles, CA to process and analyze dealer applications within the Underwriting team. You will assess data and make recommendations for approval or decline based on established guidelines, ensuring compliance with company standards.

The role involves data input, researching dealer information, and coordinating documents to fund deals. A Bachelor’s Degree and strong data-analysis skills are required to succeed.

• Basic computer knowledge and MS Office exposure.

Responsibilities

What’s the role?

Responsible for processing and analyzing dealer applications. Will be part of the Underwriting team and be responsible for making recommendations for approval or decline based on the analysis of the Dealer Applicant’s data. Flooring is currently looking for an Underwriting Associate to assist with our Underwriting process.

• Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Suite exposure
• Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
• Ability to analyze income and proactive in solving problems
• Have basic mathematical skills
• Capacity to understand and comply with company set guidelines

What’s the expected pay for this role?

• Base pay of $18.47 to $22 per hour
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
