We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Underwriting Assistant to join our Personal Lines Binding Authority team in Richmond, VA. The Underwriting Assistant will partner closely with Underwriters and brokers to support the policy binding process, ensure accurate policy documentation, and provide exceptional service throughout the policy lifecycle. Working alongside an experienced underwriting team, this individual will play a critical role in processing new business, policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and other administrative functions while gaining valuable exposure to underwriting operations and Personal Lines insurance. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, relationship-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This role will be hybrid with 3-4 days in our Richmond Office (9020 Stony Point Parkway Suite 450 Richmond, VA 23235).

The Underwriting Assistant will receive hands‑on training and mentorship while working closely with experienced Underwriters and leadership. Through daily exposure to Personal Lines Binding Authority business, policy analysis, broker interactions, and underwriting operations, individuals will build a strong foundation in insurance and risk management.
