Bridge Specialty Group in Morristown, NJ is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support the underwriting team by reviewing insurance applications, inspections, and related information to evaluate, classify, and rate submissions.

You will assist with quotes, renewals, and binders, help issue policies promptly, and learn agency management software while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a collaborative, customer‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Review insurance applications, inspections, and other pertinent information to evaluate, classify, and rate submissions.
• Assist with sales and production processes; provide new business quotes as needed.
• Review indications, quotes, binders, and submissions for completeness and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Underwriter by reviewing applications, inspections, and related information.
• Provide quotes for new business and support sales and production processes.
• Issue renewals and issue written binders.
• Review risk submissions for accuracy and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Learn agency management software and suggest labor-saving efficiencies.
• Order and review inspections to verify exposures and policy accuracy.
• Issue Certificates of Insurance.

Skills

Exceptional telephone demeanor
