Job summary

Triple-S in Puerto Rico seeks an underwriting support professional to assist in registration and issuance of prospectuses and endorsements, and to support the underwriting team with routine documentation.

The role requires an Associate's degree or at least two years of related experience in insurance, with a customer-focused mindset and attention to detail. The position involves billing tasks, certificates, and service interactions with producers and clients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in insurance, underwriting, or related area is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Registration and assignment of prospectuses and endorsements.
• Prepare and send Certificates of Insurance for all business types.
• Billing and/or issuance of credits notes for New Business, Renewals, Endorsements and Cancellations.
• Compulsory Auto Insurance Tail Issuance.
• No Money endorsements in SISE (change name, postal address and producer).
• Follow up of monthly billing, values or inventories reports.
• Handling of Mailing - Renewal requests, Good Standing Certification, returned policies by mail.
• Review applications and documents required for specialty lines of business.
• Premium collections and record payment; issue payment letters.
• Help customers resolve service issues; attendance of visitors via Turnos PR.
• Handle clients and producers service calls.
• Assist requisition materials process, keep control of receipt and distribution to employees.

Job Summary
Registration and assignment of prospectuses and insurance services request among underwriters. Assists Underwriting Department in the issuance of a variety of documentation including but not limited to policies, endorsements, certificates of insurance, billing, copies of policies requested by producers, insured, claim department, and as needed. Performs a variety of routine, limited-scope tasks that support office administrative processes, following specific and detailed processes and under direct supervision.
Essential Functions

• Registration and assignment of prospectuses, endorsements.
