One80 Intermediaries is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our growing team in NewtownSquare, PA!

We are seeking an Underwriting Assistant to join our team in a hybrid role based out of Newtown Square, PA. The Underwriter Assistantis responsible forevaluating insurance applications, assessing risk, and determiningappropriate coverageterms and pricing. This position involves analyzing applicant information, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will helpmaintainthe financial soundness of our insurance portfolio while providing excellent service to agents and clients.

How You Will Contribute:

• Scan/Save policy materials within the share drive, Employer Stop Loss (ESL).
• Enter and/or research information into the ESL/DY system.
• Ensure complete andaccuratedata is entered in ESL/DY to support data collection and evaluation.
• Usesknowledge and independent judgment todetermineeligibility of risks when compared to guidelines of programs available.
• Support the Underwriter in managing daily workflow, administrative, and clerical functions.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, ora relatedfield.
• Minimum 1 year work experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted underwriting practices.
