Job summary

Jobtailor in Edison, NJ is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to support underwriters with new and renewal accounts, file setup, and document collection. You will review applications for accuracy and provide timely service to agents.

You will also perform risk analysis, manage inspection status, and process quotes, binders, and endorsements under guidance from the underwriting team. Proficiency with Word/Excel and underwriting systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Some administrative experience is required.
• Experience as an Underwriting Assistant is preferred.
