Responsibilities

• Review applications and financial requirements for complex underwriting risks.
• Determine pricing based on financial and competitive analyses.
• Prepare quotes and respond to agencies and policyholders; negotiate to favorable outcomes.
• Notify agencies of determinations and requirements.
• Analyze profitability and prepare reports for management.
• Develop and maintain agency/broker relationships.
• Guide other underwriters on advanced cases.
• Stay current on state/territory issues and regulations.
