CFC is seeking an Underwriter for the US Professions line in California to join a broker‑facing, growth‑oriented team. You will underwrite SME and mid‑market professional liability risks, build and manage broker relationships, and travel to market to develop profitable new business.

You will play a key role in expanding the US Professions portfolio, working closely with colleagues in the US and UK to shape strategy and execution while delivering strong broker partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting Professional Liability, E&O, or related lines.
• Strong broker relationship development and market placement.
• Commercially minded and relationship-driven with a client-first approach.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite SME and mid-market professional liability risks for US clients.
• Manage broker relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Travel regularly to market and partner with brokers to structure solutions.
• Contribute to growing the US Professions proposition and admitted capabilities.
