Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an insurance operations assistant to support underwriting tasks in our Tallahassee office. You will assist underwriters with quotes, binders, and policy documents, manage data and records, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve processing issues.

The role requires a high school diploma, with an associate degree preferred, and 1–2 years in insurance operations or related admin work. Proficiency in MS Office and basic underwriting systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in the preparation, issuance, and review of quotes, binders, and policy documents.
• Collect, verify, and organize underwriting data, documentation, and supporting materials.
• Perform data entry and maintain underwriting systems, tables, and files to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Monitor underwriting mailboxes, respond to routine inquiries, and follow up on outstanding items from brokers and clients.
• Coordinate with various internal teams, including operations and compliance, to resolve processing issues.
• Support adherence to underwriting guidelines and assist with audit and quality control activities.
