Job summary

CRC Group is seeking an Underwriter II to provide administrative and operational support to underwriters from a remote Florida location. The role focuses on processing quotes and policy documents, maintaining records, and ensuring regulatory compliance to optimize turnaround and service quality.

Key responsibilities include data collection and verification, data entry, and collaboration with operations and compliance teams to resolve issues, while maintaining adherence to underwriting guidelines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or related administrative roles.
• Familiarity with insurance principles, underwriting processes, or policy administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in the preparation, issuance, and review of quotes, binders, and policy documents.
• Collect, verify, and organize underwriting data, documentation, and supporting materials.
• Perform data entry and maintain underwriting systems, tables, and files to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Monitor underwriting mailboxes, respond to routine inquiries, and follow up on outstanding items from brokers and clients.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including operations and compliance, to resolve processing issues.
• Support adherence to underwriting guidelines and assist with audit and quality control activities.
