Description

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished commercial underwriting professional to join a financially strong, P & C standard market insurer in a field commercial underwriting role for eastern TN. Working remotely with full support, you will collaborate with independent agents and brokers to develop, underwrite middle market to larger multi-line accounts, both new and renewal business. Several years of insurance company commercial lines underwriting experience is required; current knowledge of the independent agents in the territory is essential. The role involves travel to meet with, train agency account executives and producers on company appetite, and help generate new business submissions.

In addition to a market-competitive base salary, there is a viable incentive/bonus plan, a company car, and generous benefits.
