TruStone Financial Credit Union in Plymouth, MN is seeking an experienced underwriter for consumer and home equity lending. You will assess loan applications, ensure high loan quality, and mentor colleagues in lending guidelines and procedures.

The role requires 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Strong math, analytical skills, and teamwork are essential; BSA/AML compliance and background checks are part of the process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; four year college degree preferred.
• 4 years of financial service experience including 3 years consumer/real estate lending; underwriting experience preferred.
• Excellent math aptitude and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work as a team player, be flexible and dependable, and work independently with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite consumer and home equity lending.
• Mentor staff in lending practices, guidelines, policies, regulations, and procedures.
