Bass Underwriters, Inc. is hiring an Underwriter Assistant in Plantation, Florida. You will support an Underwriter by reviewing applications, evaluating risk, creating quotes, and processing new and renewal business.

No insurance experience is required; you will receive mentorship and tools to grow in risk analysis, relationship building, and a fast-paced insurance environment.

We are currently looking to add an Underwriter Assistant to our team. An Underwriter Assistant provides support to an Underwriter by reviewing applications, evaluating risk, creating quotes, and processing new and renewal business. This is the perfect stepping stone into a lucrative career in Underwriting. Get exposure to risk analysis, building relationships, and learn directly from an Underwriter who has walked in your shoes. Job Requirements

• Bachelor Degree - (Business, Finance, Economics, Risk Management & Insurance or other related major or experience preferred)
