Job summary

RTMI Capital, an international business financing firm, is expanding in the US. We seek an ambitious underwriter to review MCA and small business funding files, size offers, and own the decision. Hybrid or remote-friendly work in the Miami area.

Base compensation ranges from $70k to $100k plus commission, with opportunities to earn bonuses. You will evaluate bank statements, ensure accuracy, and document reasoning as you progress in a fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting MCA, revenue-based financing, or small business credit preferred.
• Ability to read business bank statements and identify patterns that matter.
• Judgement to say no clearly and explain why.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Review submissions: bank statements, credit, ownership, and existing positions.
• Spot inconsistencies such as stacking or altered statements.
• Collaborate with sales and ISO relations to move files to a yes.
• Keep decisions and reasoning documented throughout the process.

About The Role

You will underwrite merchant cash advance and small business funding files: reading the bank statements, sizing the offer, and owning the decision.

What you will do

• Review submissions: bank statements, credit, ownership, and existing positions
• Spot the things that do not add up: stacking, altered statements, ownership that does not match
• Work with sales and ISO relations on what a file needs to get to yes
• Keep decisions and reasoning documented as you go

What we are looking for

• A few years underwriting MCA, revenue-based financing, or small business credit - preferred
• Fluency reading business bank statements and spotting the patterns that matter
• The judgment to say no clearly, and the patience to explain why
• Problem solving mindset

Pay

Base $70k–$100k + commission
