Responsibilities

• Adhere to safe diving practices.
• Use underwater tools to block vessels.
• Provide underwater assistance with placement/removal of straps for hauls and launches with Travelift.
• Confirm vessel is centered and blocks touch for even keel load distribution.
• Conduct underwater visual inspections of vessels as needed.
• Perform underwater preventive maintenance (unfouling propellers, clearing intakes, etc.).
• Assist with yard operations including lift and bottom coating duties.
• Maintain tools and equipment between dives.
• Follow plans, specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
