Leidos is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Analysis Solutions Business Area. You will shape maritime threat understanding, support ONI products, and contribute to naval decision-making through multidomain system analysis.
You will characterize C4ISR architectures, translate intelligence into actionable insights, and evaluate network topology while addressing vulnerabilities and countermeasures. This role requires an active TS clearance and a passion for mission-driven work.
Are you an experienced engineer ready to apply your expertise to some of the nation's most complex and consequential intelligence challenges? Join Leidos' Analysis Solutions Business Area, where your work will directly shape maritime threat understanding, strengthen national defense, and influence real-world operational outcomes. In this missiondriven role, you'll collaborate with top technical and intelligence professionals, tackle sophisticated multidomain systems, and see your contributions impact countermeasure development and Navy decision‑making. If you're motivated by solving hard problems with strategic importance, this is where your skills can make a lasting difference.
Leidos' Analysis Solutions Business Area is seeking experienced engineers who are eager to contribute to some of the nation's most important maritime intelligence challenges. In this role, you'll help characterize undersea naval and multidomain threats‑from subsystemlevel analysis to integrated combatsystem assessments‑and support the creation of highvalue maritime finished intelligence (FINTEL) products for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).
Your work will directly advance several missioncritical objectives:
This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy complex systems analysis, thrive in missiondriven environments, and want their technical expertise to directly influence national security outcomes.
Characterize threat C4ISR architecture from the component level upward. Your assessments will cover node hierarchy, decision timelines, battlemanagement logic, sensor integration, datafusion requirements, communications/datalink features, and EP integration under jamming or EA conditions. You'll also generate subsystemlevel engineering building blocks that feed broader systemofsystems analysis.
Translate raw intelligence into operationally actionable insights, closing the loop between sensor performance and architectural vulnerabilities. Your work will highlight decision points, timing constraints, and structural weaknesses that inform EW, EP, and hardkill countermeasure development.
Evaluate physical and logical network architecture, connectivity pathways, bandwidth and latency constraints, and redundancy/failover design.
Analyze adversary processes from initial target detection through track reporting, firecontrol solution development, weaponlaunch authorization, guidance support, and battledamage assessment.
Assess how threats coordinate across sensors and platforms, including dataexchange formats, cueing protocols, and cooperativeengagement logic.
Examine track accuracy and latency requirements at every handoff point, and evaluate how jamming or countermeasures degrade engagement performance.
Conduct functional decomposition, develop attack trees, construct threat scenarios, and perform rigorous assessments to identify system and network vulnerabilities.
Salary Range for this position is: $166K to $205K - The final salary offered will be based on experience, education, and clearance.
