Job summary

Leidos is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of mission-critical systems in a SCIF environment, working directly with Government stakeholders on high-priority national security missions.

You will contribute to requirements analysis, develop technical documentation, and support prototype development while contributing to system requirements, CONOPs, and interface definitions as part of the Cyber & Analytics Business Area team.

Qualifications

• Must have ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent in CS/Math/Physics with relevant experience.
• Active TS/SCI/polygraph clearance required.
• Ability to work in a SCIF environment and travel as mission requires.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing system requirements, specifications, and CONOPs based on stakeholder engagement
• Support functional analysis, interface definition, and data-flow diagrams and system design artifacts
• Contribute to integration and testing efforts following NSA policies; develop test plans and analyze results
• Assist with configuration management, troubleshooting, and implementation of system changes
• Support development of ICDs, XML schemas, and metadata models

Job Summary

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist in developing system requirements, specifications, and Concept of Operations (CONOPs) based on stakeholder engagement
• Support functional analysis, interface definition, and development of data-flow diagrams and system design artifacts
• Contribute to integration and testing efforts following NSA Test and Evaluation policies; develop test plans and analyze results
• Assist with configuration management, troubleshooting, and implementation of system changes
• Support development of Interface Control Documents (ICDs), XML schemas, and metadata models

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) with no experience, OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics plus 1 year of relevant systems engineering experience
• For non-ABET programs: degree must include differential and integral calculus plus 5 of 18 specified technical areas*
• Active TS/SCI/polygraph clearance required
• Ability to work in a SCIF environment
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS as mission requires

Pay Range

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
