Job summary

Ishpi Information Technologies, Inc. (DBA ISHPI) seeks a Hardware Development Engineer to design, develop, fabricate, integrate and test electronic hardware for Navy undersea systems. You will document, qualify, and troubleshoot hardware with CM artifacts and fielding support.

The role requires collaboration with SMEs and government customers, plus travel to labs and ships as needed. Active U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in EE, CE, or EET.
• Minimum 3 years in schematic capture and multi-layer PCB layout.
• Experience with hardware testing and FAT.
• Familiarity with Navy/DoD programs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and validate electronic hardware and boards.
• Develop drawings, BOMs, schematics, and data packages.
• Perform schematic capture and PCB layout for prototype and production.
• Support configuration management and hardware baselines.
• Coordinate material procurement and assembly.
• Conduct tests and provide reports.
