Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) seeks an Undersea Acquisition Lead in Chantilly, VA to guide the acquisition life-cycle, manage schedules and budgets, and oversee technical integration of undersea prototype capabilities.

You will interact with government stakeholders, contribute to decision-making, and coordinate with DoW, IC, and TSOC/GCC partners. Requires TS/SCI clearance, 10–15 years naval/undersea experience, and UUV proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 10–15 years in naval weapons systems or maritime robotics.
• 3+ years supporting UUV programs or advanced undersea prototypes.
• Knowledge of DoW acquisition and program management.
• Deep understanding of UUV subsystems (autonomous planning, acoustic comms, INS, launch/recovery).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; experience briefing senior officials.
• Willingness to travel ~25% and work in Chantilly, VA.
• Desirable: SETA/EDO experience; PMP/DAWIA certs.

Responsibilities

• Project Management Support across the acquisition life-cycle, planning and transition.
• Provide technical oversight and integration for undersea prototype development.
• Coordinate between government offices and vendors; facilitate stakeholder communications.
