Job summary

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup in Blacksburg/Christiansburg, VA seeks an Excavation and Underground Utility Sales Consultant. The role combines on-site customer meetings, project evaluation, and end-to-end solution delivery for excavation and underground utility needs.

Base salary $30,000 plus uncapped commissions with expected annual earnings of $60,000–$85,000+. You will build relationships with homeowners, contractors, and property owners, prepare estimates, present tailored solutions,

Qualifications

• Experience in outside or consultative sales.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and customers.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfort explaining technical information to customers.

Responsibilities

• Meet homeowners, contractors, and property owners to evaluate excavation and underground utility projects.
• Inspect job sites and gather information for accurate estimates.
• Present customized solutions for sewer lines, water services, and underground work.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics with office staff and crews.
• Visit active job sites to monitor progress and address questions.
