Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring entry level Utility Locator Field Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot and mark the ground. We will train you on the job and equip you with basic skills in our 100 paid training program.

Starting pay is $22.50 per hour with benefits including a company vehicle for daily use, PTO, paid holidays, safety shoe vouchers, and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day, 2-3 times a week.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Train as an entry level Locating Technician with safety first mindset.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints and determine locating methods.
• Use locate equipment and technology to locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers and homeowners.
