Join Tjader & Highstrom Utility Services, LLC as a Utility Locator in New Richmond, WI. You will mark underground utilities with flags and paint to help ensure safe, efficient projects.

The role includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus if you stay for 6 months, with $500 after 3 months and another $500 after 6 months. Expect to operate locating equipment, read maps, document locates, and communicate with site personnel. We value safety and reliability in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate detection equipment to locate and mark underground utilities.
• Read utility maps to locate underground utilities correctly.
• Document all locates.
• Respond promptly to excavation notices.
• Communicate with excavators, utility representatives, and staff.
• Dig lightly with a shovel when necessary.
• Work overtime, travel, and be on-call as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
