Job summary

CTwater is seeking a Line Locate Technician to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. The technician will be responsible for pinpointing the paths of utilities underground, which is crucial for protecting them during excavation projects.

This role requires skills in mapping utilities, documenting site information, and effectively communicating with clients and engineers. Candidates should have a valid Texas Driver’s License and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Six months’ experience performing maintenance in water distribution/wastewater collection systems.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 90 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to report to work on time and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and map location and depth of utilities.
• Document interactions and utilities in organizational software.
• Communicate with clients, engineers, and management.
• Use techniques to measure utilities.

Skills

Basic PC skills including Microsoft Word and Outlook

Proficient in construction tools and maintenance

Valid Class 'C' Texas Driver’s License

Ability to obtain Class 'D' Texas Water Operator’s License

Education

High School Diploma or GED
