Job summary

A local utility locating company is seeking entry level Locate Technicians in Kansas. You will receive on-the-job training to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground while promoting damage prevention in your community. Competitive pay of $18 per hour includes benefits like PTO, safety shoe vouchers, and a 401(k) plan with company match. Ideal candidates are 18 or older, have a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. Flexibility for a varied schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.

Responsibilities

• Use a laptop computer to receive, document and process tickets.
• Use provided locate equipment & technology to accurately locate underground utilities.
