Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC seeks dependable field technicians to locate underground utilities in outdoor environments. You will work in teams or independently with company-provided vehicles and tools, focusing on safety and accuracy. Training is provided and advancement opportunities exist within a fast-paced setting.

Day shifts with overtime, weekends, and on-call availability as needed. No prior locating experience required, but experienced locators are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology and maps.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive role).
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Strong communication with teammates, customers and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities in designated areas.
• Mark location on-site and complete necessary documentation.
• Photograph each locate and review tickets, maps, and prints.
