Precision Locating LLC in Melrose, MN is seeking a motivated Underground Utility Locator to join our team. You will help ensure safe marking of buried utilities, including water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecom lines, while working with a professional crew.

Ideal candidates enjoy outdoor work, pay attention to detail, and value safety and customer service. Prior experience is a plus but not required, as comprehensive training is provided and you will have access to the company vehicle and

Qualifications

• Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies; basic knowledge of GPS navigation, map reading, and locating tools.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude; in-person customer service experience preferred
• Basic understanding of electronics and good computer skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to work independently; good organizational and time management skills
• Clear background and driving record
• Willingness to work outdoors

Responsibilities

• Identify and mark underground utilities accurately and safely.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions at job sites.
• Coordinate with team and customers to ensure proper utility locating.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety training is up to date.
