Job summary

The Town of Prosper is seeking a qualified Utility Line Locator to join our municipal team. This position focuses on locating underground utilities and ensuring safe, accurate work during construction projects.

The Hiring Salary Range is $44,818.15 to $51,540.87. We offer TMRS retirement with 2-to-1 match, medical, dental, and vision, flex scheduling, tuition reimbursement, wellness benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in water, sewer, construction, or related field.
• Valid Texas driver’s license required.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to perform heavy lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities and mark locations.
• Assist with construction projects ensuring safe, accurate locations.
• Maintain records and notes from locating activities.
