Job summary

A utility locating company in Texas is seeking entry-level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities and promote damage prevention. This role offers 100% paid training and a pay rate of $21.00 per hour, with benefits such as 401(k) with company match and paid holidays. Ideal candidates should be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma, and have a valid driver license. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Eighteen years of age or older.
• Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles a day 2-3 times a week.
• Ability to carry up to 5 lbs of electronic locating equipment for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Use a laptop to receive, document and process tickets.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints.
• Use locate equipment to accurately locate underground utilities.
