Job summary

Stake Center Locating is hiring Entry-level and experienced Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground using paint and flags to promote damage prevention in your community. The role offers on-the-job training and 100% paid training, with a preference for outdoor work in all weather and independent problem solving.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour or more based on prior locating experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• No explicit background check requirement in text beyond pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Think Safety First.
• Use a tablet to receive, document, and process tickets and emails.
• Read maps, interpret blueprints, and determine the best method & sequence for locating.
• Use provided locate equipment & technology to accurately locate underground utilities.
• Communicate effectively with peers, managers, and homeowners.
