Job summary

Stake Center Locating seeks entry level Locate Technicians to locate underground utilities, troubleshoot, and mark the ground with paint and flags to promote damage prevention in the community.

We will train you on the job and equip you with the basic skills to be successful in our 100 paid training program; you must enjoy outdoor work in all weather and be able to solve problems quickly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to walk up to 5 miles daily and lift up to 25–75 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Train entry level Locate Technicians to think safety first.
• Locate underground utilities using equipment and mark ground.
• Read maps and blueprints to determine locating method.
• Communicate with peers, managers, and homeowners.
