Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking field locator professionals to accurately locate underground utilities in designated areas using company vehicles and advanced locating equipment. This is a daytime, full-time role with overtime and on-call shifts as needed, including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Correctly, safely, and efficiently locate underground utilities, including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search for underground utilities in a designated area, marking locations, completing documentation, and photographing each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with a 48-hour turnaround on many locates; overtime, weekend and on-call shifts as needed.
