Timmons Group is seeking an Underground Utility Locator for our Survey Group in Ashburn, VA. This position involves marking underground utilities for projects and may include both in-office and field work. Candidates should ideally have five years of experience and a valid NC driver license.

The role includes responsibilities such as utilizing electromagnetic equipment for utility designation, maintaining survey equipment, and ensuring project success. The estimated compensation is between $21 and $28 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Underground Utility Experience and field survey experience is ideal.
• Must be able to obtain and hold a federal security clearance.
• Valid NC driver license and a good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides underground utility flagging using electromagnetic equipment.
• Marks utilities with flags and/or paint and produces a sketch.
• Oversees maintenance of survey equipment, supplies, and vehicle.
