Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Our Underground Utility Locators are responsible, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors and have great computer skills. Our locators use specialized equipment to find underground cables, pipes, and utilities to prevent damages and ensure safety during excavation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive to sites responding to routine ticket requests, emergencies, and relocations.
• Use mapping tools and locating equipment to find underground utilities such as electrical cables and gas lines.
• Mark utility locations with paint and flags, and communicate relevant information to excavation personnel or authorities.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment.
• Respond to after-hours emergency call-outs as scheduled.
