Job summary

Midco in Fargo, ND is hiring a Laborer to support underground construction crews installing and maintaining telecommunications infrastructure. The role features full-time onsite work, a $1,000 signing bonus, and opportunities for advancement based on experience and certification.

Responsibilities include digging trenches, installing pedestals and cabinets, pulling cable, site restoration, and maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 2 years of equivalent work experience.
• Must complete Construction First Time (FTR) certification within 60 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and meet DOT requirements.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual labor including digging trenches and exposing utilities.
• Install utility pedestals, cabinets, and hand holes.
• Handle materials such as conduit and fiber/cable.
• Perform site restoration and cleanup to Midco standards.
• Maintain a safe work zone and follow safety procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and assist with jobsite oversight.
• Travel up to 50% as required.
