Job Title: Underground Utility Foreman

Join Stewart & Tate Construction as an Underground Utility Foreman.

Description

The Pipe/Utility Foreman performs tasks involving physical labor at highway and heavy construction projects. Responsibilities include operating hand and power tools, site preparation, trench digging, installing supports, scaffolding, and debris removal.

  • Oversee, schedule, and coordinate pipe crew work daily, collaborating with team members.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company standards and OSHA regulations.
  • Locate and designate job site locations and structures.
  • Coordinate with personnel and supervisors to synchronize site activities.
  • Delegate tasks based on crew capabilities and project needs.
  • Resolve conflicts and issues with management and clients.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing education to meet industry standards.
  • Follow safety and incident reporting procedures, reporting issues to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Deep knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, OSHA guidelines, and water line experience.
  • Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints.

  • Valid driver’s license with a Med Card and clean driving record.
