Job summary

ICS, Inc (Industrial Contract Services) seeks experienced Underground/Earthwork Superintendents to oversee crews on underground utility installation and site earthwork in Grand Forks, ND. You will supervise, coordinate projects, and ensure safety and quality while delivering on schedule and budget.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in underground utilities or grading, an ND Sewer and Water Installer Licensure, and a valid driver’s license, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in underground utilities, earthwork, or grading.
• ND Sewer and Water Installer Licensure required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and safety rules.
• Excellent communication and management skills.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and lift 50–100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee crews performing underground utility installation and site earthwork/grading operations.
• Coordinate projects to ensure on-time, on-budget completion while maintaining safety and quality.
• Manage safety, scheduling, and coordination between crews and other stakeholders.
• Travel to different job sites as needed with short notice.
