Job summary

RECONN Construction Services National General Contractors is seeking an Advanced Locate Technician to responsibly locate underground utilities. You will search areas, mark locations, document each locate, and work outdoors in all weather conditions using company-provided devices.

Training is provided, with some overtime and travel as needed. Ideal candidates have 1 year of locating experience, ability to pass a drug screen, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1 year of utility locating experience required.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Ability to travel locally during the business day; some out-of-area or overnight travel may be expected.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities accurately and safely.
• Mark locations and complete necessary paperwork.
• Document each locate using company laptop and smartphone.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions; use company equipment.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, and contractors.
