Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking laborers to support underground utility construction in outdoor environments. You will assist with setup, move tools, and help with trenching, backfilling, and installation of conduit and cables.

You will spot for operators, follow safe-dig procedures, maintain equipment, and participate in site restoration. Previous construction or utility experience is preferred but not required; reliable attendance and ability to work in varying weather are essential.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding outdoor work required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew.
• Experience with construction or underground utilities preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance and punctual at jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Assist with jobsite setup: clear debris, set barricades, prep work areas (short: <140 chars).
• Load, unload, organize, and move tools, materials, and equipment (short).
• Assist with trenching, excavation, backfilling, and soil compaction (short).
• Assist with installing conduit, pipe, cable, and other underground utilities (short).
• Hand dig and pothole around existing utilities as needed (short).
• Spot for equipment operators and follow utility markings and safe-dig procedures (short).
• Assist with jobsite restoration and cleanup (short).
• Operate small tools and support equipment, including tampers and jackhammers (short).
• Follow safety policies, OSHA requirements, traffic control procedures, and PPE requirements (short).
• Inspect tools and equipment and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment (short).
• Assist Equipment Operators and Foremen with additional jobsite tasks as needed (short).
