Job summary

Pramira seeks a Foreman for its outside plant division in CA. You will supervise excavation crews, operate trenching machinery, and ensure safety, quality, and production standards. Responsibilities include locating cables, reading blueprints, and maintaining equipment.

The role requires 2+ years as a foreman, hands-on trenching experience, and the ability to work long, unpredictable hours in outdoor settings. CDL preferred and equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a foreman.
• Two or more years’ experience operating machinery in standard and high-risk areas.
• One year experience operating a RT80 trencher or similar.
• CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of highway traffic control standards.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment including mini excavator, skid steer, trench machinery, and trenchers.
• Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment safely.
• Locate cables per blueprints and identify utilities in work area.
• Perform pre/post operation inspections and ensure maintenance per safety guidelines.
• Organize materials and hand tools for excavation requirements.
• Complete company documentation and follow safety standards.
