Job summary

Kokosing, based in Richmond, Virginia, is looking for an Underground Estimator responsible for preparing and coordinating estimates related to drainage, waterline, and sanitary projects. The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and have a minimum of 3 years of estimating experience. The expected annual salary ranges from $75,000 to $110,000 with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in estimating/engineering role on public and private construction projects is preferred.
• Ability to estimate multiple projects at the same time with proven time management skills.
• Solid attention to detail with the ability to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate complete estimates for drainage/waterline/sanitary projects.
• Review proposals, specifications, and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and complete full cost estimates.
