Job summary

Elecnor Hawkeye is seeking a Project Engineer to develop schedules and processes for cutting-edge underground transmission projects. This role combines office planning with on-site field work to identify critical paths and keep the project on track.

You will monitor expenditures, support budgeting and cost tracking, and collaborate with HR leadership, project managers, and clients. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic energy infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 1–3 years of experience in Construction or Utility industries.
• Proficient in MS Office for project documentation and reporting.
• Extensive expertise in Excel, data manipulation, and spreadsheet design.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project expenditures, including tickets, invoices and claims.
• Provide planning and cost control support for all projects, including variation reporting and customer billing.
• Assist with preconstruction tasks, including mark-out requests and permitting.
• Capture and record data (timesheets, crew locations, billing, as-built records, materials).
• Manage and schedule project activities and monitor timing.
• Use project reports (Viewpoint) for effective project implementation.
• Collaborate with project management to resolve issues and ensure project completion.
• Report monthly on project costs to align with budget.
• Engage in office and fieldwork for underground transmission projects.
