Job summary

TelCom Construction in Maple Grove, MN seeks an Underground Construction Superintendent to oversee daily operations and projects across multiple crews. Coordinate with Supervisors and Outside Plant Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion.

The role emphasizes leadership, project management, and safety, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, material control, data accuracy, and liaison duties with contractors and billing teams.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisor experience required.
• Knowledge of quality processes and safety programs.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Knowledge of proper installation processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates jobs with outside services, such as subcontractors, and management.
• Organizes equipment, material and labor to complete project in a timely manner.
• Verifies accuracy of locates, materials, and billings.
• Calls in or emails locates as needed.
• Completes change orders, following procedures, including passing information on to contract administrators and billing department.
• Completes final asbuilts and tab sheet of units placed.
• Completes redlining process.
• Supports Supervisors and Foreman to monitor and enforce all company and outside required safety policies and procedures.
• Assists supervisors in the management and retention of new and existing employees.
• Monitors and completes the necessary paperwork regarding employee accidents and injuries, in conjunction with the Safety Department.
• Maintains and properly documents DOT paperwork if required.
• Reviews for accuracy, approves, and submits employee time-cardsfor processing.
• Manages materials using a spreadsheet.
• All other duties as assigned
