Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC is hiring a Laborer II for our Telecom Underground team in Washington. You will perform advanced tasks in underground construction, operate equipment, and help install and maintain complex telecom cables according to project specs.

The role requires at least 2 years of equipment operation experience, the ability to work independently and with a team, and willingness to overtime and weekends. We offer competitive pay and a safety-first environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years operating construction equipment or performing similar tasks.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours.
• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled construction tasks: loading, delivering, excavating, and operating advanced equipment for underground projects.
• Install and maintain complex underground telecom cable per specifications.
• Operate and inspect equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on project goals.
• Complete and submit detailed daily production reports.
• Assist with site restoration including final grading and landscaping.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Collaborate with Level I laborers to support projects.
• Work in all weather conditions to meet deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
