Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC is seeking a Laborer II for their Telecom Underground team in Ripon, CA. Hourly position involving loading, delivering, excavating, and operating advanced equipment for underground projects.

You will install and maintain underground telecom cables, operate equipment, and complete daily production reports while adhering to safety standards and client specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment, utility trucks, or performing similar tasks.
• Strong ability to work independently and contribute in team environments.
• Effective communication and proactive problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform highly skilled construction tasks such as loading, delivering, excavating, and operating advanced equipment for underground projects.
• Install and maintain complex underground telecommunications cable with precision and adherence to project specifications.
• Operate and inspect construction equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to align on project objectives.
• Complete and submit detailed daily production reports to track progress.
• Assist with site restoration efforts, including final grading and landscaping, to meet client expectations.
• Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Level I laborers as needed to support projects.
• Work in all weather conditions to meet project deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
