Job summary

Ansco & Associates, LLC is seeking an Equipment Foreman for our Telecom Construction team. You will lead crews to complete projects on schedule, safely operate equipment, and manage materials to keep work sites productive.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Foreman experience is preferred, along with a strong focus on safety and DOT/OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and updates
• Oversee training of crew members
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes and DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and perform maintenance
• Work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What you’ll do

• Lead crews to meet project timelines
• Safely operate and control assigned equipment
• Assist the Supervisor with day-to-day activities and provide updates as needed
• Oversee and help with training of crew members
• Help ensure everyone is following company safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations
• Maintain production notes & DOT paperwork
• Operate heavy equipment and machinery, complete maintenance
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• All other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• A valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, relevant work experience, or a combination of education and work experience preferred
• At least three years of related experience
• Previous Foreman experience preferred

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, work at heights & in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift greater than 55 pounds
• Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
