Job summary

Dycom Industries, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Construction Underground Supervisor in Alpharetta, GA. This salaried field-based role will lead crews, coordinate with operations and customers, and ensure cable installation and restoration work meets contract specifications.

The position requires 3+ years in telecom/utility construction, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate related trucks and tools. The company offers strong benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance.
Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
Basic knowledge to operate utility trucks and equipment
Basic knowledge of hand tools and equipment
Ability to read prints and interpret utility maps
Proficient with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) and Google applications or other construction software
Able to communicate effectively with customers and team
Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with/without assistance
Overtime or on-call availability

Responsibilities

Direct, coordinate and supervise crews and subcontractors to ensure correct placement/repair of cable and restorations per contract and specs.
Ensure safety, quality, and production goals are met per company rules and standards.
Maintain daily production sheets and other reporting.
Inspect trucks/equipment for defects.
Participate in daily/weekly calls with operations and customers.
Resolve complaints and perform other duties as necessary.
