Job summary

Star Construction LLC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to operate drill equipment for installing underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, verify utilities, and manage bore schedules while performing site setup, equipment maintenance, and cleanup.

Ideal candidates will have 18+ years old with US work authorization, a High School Diploma or GED, and a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement preferred; prior drilling

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) or relevant work experience is required.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize mud mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site setup, cleanup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
