Job summary

MAPEI Inc. in Salt Lake City seeks an Underground Technologies Specialist Intern to support our underground construction product line. You will gain hands-on experience through customer-site visits, field trials, training, and lab work while collaborating with diverse teams.

The program offers a 12-week internship (May-August 2027) with on-site, lab, and field activities, and potential future opportunities in technical support or sales.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's or graduate degree in Civil, Mining, or Geological Engineering, or a related field (juniors and seniors preferred).
• Demonstrates an innovative mindset and strong motivation to learn and succeed.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support technical assistance for customers, including on-site visits, hands-on training, and technical presentations.
• Support product sales, job-site activities, and customer training sessions.
• Participate in field trials, product demonstrations, competitive analysis, and special projects.
• Assist with laboratory testing and evaluation of products and materials.
• Help prepare technical reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with technical, commercial, laboratory, and field teams.
